Mile Long Couloir
This incredibly steep and dangerous North facing couloir may not actually be a mile, but it's very long. It drops down into Granite Canyon. Avalanche danger is incredibly high, and during the long exit out of Granite Canyon to the resort, you'll face a path that is threatened by numerous other avalanche chutes above it. The chute is known to form avy-prone wind slabs that could be midway down where you wouldn't expect them. Never drop into a zone in the backcountry when other people are still in it down below you. If you see fresh tracks going in, you need to wait until you're absolutely sure that no one is still in the chute. Either that, or choose another objective.
