East Ptarmigan
Steep, rocky, variable east facing terrain off of Ptarmigan Hill. It starts off up top with a 40-45 degree pitch which can form a big threatening cornice. After the steep face it mellows out to the mid/low 30s when you drop down into a big scree field. Watch out for cornice-fall, avalanches and exposed rocks that are cooking in the sun.
