Fletcher Mountain Northwest Chute
This huge, steep NW facing couloir is also a common ascent route to get to this line and to Fletcher Mountain Northwest Face. You could also go up the ridge above Gold Hill and up and over Drift Peak. Watch out for the cornice on that ridge as you hike if you go that way. It can break off beneath you.Be aware of the danger of kicking off an avalanche on uphill climbers below you, especially if you’re skiing downhill. This is a Spring line with high avalanche danger. It requires a good solid snowpack, but it also can be thin and may not fill in all the way to the top.
