Cross Couloir
The Holy Cross Couloir is a huge narrow E-NE facing line coming down from the summit of Mount of the Holy Cross in the Sawatch Range. It's a very dangerous and technical line with long, difficult access. You use the East face from Bowl of Tears to enter and exit the couloir. Don't attempt to ski the couloir below the exit point or you'll be cliffed out. Because of the East aspect, this line gets a lot of sun which contributes to avalanche danger when the snow heats up.
