There is much skiable East and Southeast facing terrain on the ridge going up to Buckeye Peak from the Sangree M. Froelicher Hut. Avalanche danger is high all the way up the ridge, but it gets steeper and more dangerous as you get higher up near the cliff features in the upper bowl.
