Box Creek Cirque
Box Creek Cirque is a steep NE face coming down off Mt. Elbert. There are narrow rock chutes to choose from. Be sure the one you ski is filled in and watch out for a cornice or dangerous avalanche conditions. After you ski the bowl, you'll need to make your way onto the ridge to your S-SE if you need to get back to the South Trailhead.
