Ruby East Bowl
The East Bowl of Ruby Mountain is a long trek in to access. The safest bet in the Winter is to go over Cooper Mountain from the West, so you avoid crossing under the avalanche paths coming off Ruby, Decatur, and Argentine until you’re on your way out and moving much quicker. Just be aware that something could potentially slide and go across the road. The pitch of the run is in the 30’s and it does have some dangerous cliffs and the possibility of an avalanche. You would be pretty remote if you got into trouble.
