Burke Martin Trees
These East/Northeast facing trees drop down to the Burke Martin Mine from the same starting point as the Equity Chute. There is a creek on the skier’s left of the zone. If you go past that you’ll be getting into the Burke Martin Chutes, which is very dangerous, more North facing and full of cliffs. When you exit at the mine you can head out to the road to return to your vehicle. You can access the Burke Martin Chutes by going hard skier’s left when you pass the cliffs near the Equity Chute. Make sure they’re filled in all the way, and be sure of the avalanche conditions. This is an incredibly dangerous zone.
