Ptarmigan Headwall
These are steep, dangerous lines that don’t always fill in all the way. Watch out for huge cliffs on this face. The skier’s right couloir is sometimes referred to as the “Hourglass Couloir” but there are other runs in the park known as Hourglass so don’t be confused. Watch out for giant cornices that threaten most of these runs. Most people who come up this way are planning to ski the Ptarmigan Glacier.
