Pawnee Southeast Face
Pawnee Southeast Face: Watch out for the obvious cliff band to the skier’s left of this mellow Southeast facing slope off Pawnee Peak. The cliffs separate out the open face from the couloir. Pawnee Southeast Couloir: This couloir is a more dangerous option when you set out to ski Pawnee’s Southeast Face. It has a slightly steeper pitch than the open face. Pawnee East Couloir: An alternate line from the top of Pawnee Peak, this one is steeper and more East facing than the Southeast Face or the Southeast Couloir and has a generally higher level of avalanche danger. Watch out for cliff obstacles near the top.
