Mt. Eva Southeast Face
The S-SE face of Mt. Eva is a big open bowl with danger from cornices and rock outcroppings in addition to the avalanche danger. There is a big area of rocks towards the bottom to the skier’s right but it can be avoided. The most straightforward approach is from Rainbow Road near St. Mary’s Glacier but you could also come from Berthoud Pass to the West.

Trailheads
Depending on snow conditions you may be able to drive up Rainbow Road. If so, you can park at the places where it intersects other roads. Do not park in front of someone's driveway or on the side of the road.
