Ganley Gulch
Ganley Gulch comes down from Ganley Mountain to I-70 in a mostly North to Northeast aspect. Steep and dangerous, it's a huge slide path and a terrain trap. There are many possible lines that could be skied off the ridge that form small chutes coming into the main drainage but if any of them slid while you were below in the drainage you would be caught. Slide paths like this one that threaten the road should be approached with caution and never skied in conditions that could trigger an avy coming down on the highway.
