Southeast Russell
This is the large southeast face of Russell. Three routes mainly get skied. The first is an open gully pitched in the mid 30’s that is partway up the ridge. This is skier’s left. From the summit there are chutes on a very steep face pitched in the 40’s.The skier’s right follows the ridge from the summit until it funnels left into a gully with a medium sized mandatory cliff. All of these options have high levels of avalanche danger.
