Current Creek Cirque
They also call this zone the Ten Little Indians. This is the E-SE_S bowl with all of the chutes and cliffs in Current Creek. Only some of these chutes ever really get skied. Usually these are far looker’s right and far looker’s left where the cornice is more manageable. In the middle it gets too big and poses too much of an avalanche threat if it were to break. The slope averages around 25 degrees but it hits a max of about 40 degrees which sustains for a good stretch coming down the wall before it mellows out.
