Mount Axtell
The terrain on Mount Axtell is very serious. As you get further up the ridge, it gets more extreme. Avalanche danger is very high in every one of these zones. Everything faces more or less North, with different aspects more to the East or West. Half bowl is the first run you come to and is mostly in the trees. First Bowl is steep and more open than Half Bowl. Second Bowl is very steep and dangerous with a choice of small chutes for entrances. The Quill is an insanely steep and narrow couloir. The Pencil Couloir is steep and narrow, with big rock walls. It's a little less extreme than The Quill but it's very dangerous nonetheless. Wang Chung is an exposed North face above cliffs and very steep terrain. An avalanche would be disasterous. The exits are incredibly difficult and dangerous; you'll either need to go through the Eraser Couloir, or make your way down towards The Pencil where it isn't blocked by cliffs. The Eraser is a very narrow and dangerous couloir directly beneath Wang Chung.
