Teton Range
The Teton Range spans from the North side of the highway on Teton Pass to the top of Grand Teton National Park. That includes Jackson Hole and its gate-accessible backcountry terrain. The Teton Pass runs on the South side of the highway are in the Snake River Range. It is an especially dangerous range with a lot of yearly deaths and frequent avalanches. Check the Bridger-Teton Avalanche Center’s daily forecast here, but remember that even a low danger day could be deadly.
